Now that you've decided to be a nursing assistant, it is time you want to investigate how you will go about to get the necessary training to become a certified nursing assistant.

There are many cities and state colleges offering programs for Nursing assistant. You can also look into your local career training school or vocational school.

Bear in mind that although you will want to take your classes online, you can't become certified without achieving the clinical training for your certification.  State requires you pass at least 75 hours in actual hands-on training.

While you can expect to make good money as a CNA, you want to find out how much it costs you to get the training you're looking for.

While I am writing this article, I have done some research, and I found that average tuition cost is between $2500 to $6000.  Make sure you ask to confirm if the material cost is already included in your fees.

Once you are CNA you can take classes online to become RN or even BSN.

CNA is a great way to enter  the health care profession.  Most CNA love their job, and it is not always about money.  These jobs offer a sense of self-satisfaction in knowing that you are helping people feel better.

Do not forget to check into specialized care such as working specifically with children or terminally ill patients only, for example.  CNA in the specialized field is normally getting paid more than just general nursing assistant.

Check this website for a list of accredited (LPN, CNA, RN) colleges approved by the state.
